Sorry for the Inconvenience of Signal this time! Published online on October 4, 2012 @ 6 P.M.
MNHS is now using the GILAS residential canopy antenna which has only 2 Mbps on its bandwidth that is only good for 5 computers. Unlike the Smart Bro Corporate Canopy which has 5 Mbps on its bandwidth that is good for more than 20 PCs. The school principal and ICT department decided to temporarily stop the 5 Mbps bandwidth connection, which was supposedly the DICP project. This is because, the school had a problem on processing with DICP requirements for its budget allocation; the Smart Bro Corporate Canopy is temporarily disabled and should not be used unless the school could avail the DICP project.
The school must have to submit DICP requirements to the DepEd Region VII as well as the completely filled-up Service Agreement to state that the budget for internet connection must not exceed the amount of Php 48,000.00 per year. The said Service Agreement is a requirement so that DepEd Central Office can issue the Sub-ARO (Sub-Allotment Release Order) intended for MNHS. But our school must have to prefer only one connection; so it's better to do process DICP project now, and stop GILAS. This is provided in DepEd Order 46, s. 2011.
For me, the school principal, division... and ...region office shall be of great help of Mantalongon NHS DICP Application.
