My RPAST might be a proof that I was not a good teacher!
This evaluation was made by a very competent, a tough and intelligent head of office. He's a perfect supervisor I have ever met in my teaching endeavor. Well, when it comes to performance, paper rating is the tool for promotions that I might fail to enjoy with the span of three years from now. Just because of this rating. This is a very challenge on my part as a Computer teacher. I've developed my personal website so that I could upload my lectures and year level scopes in Computer Technology online which was however, not the basis for checking lesson plans or even log plans in the entire semester.
My Self Rating is 8 or even lesser than that. I am happy with that rating but if the principal changes my score from my Self Rating, it must be justified by guidelines and even rubrics or any Civil Service Law that would support such changes; and Form 6 or Form 7 when it comes to my Daily Attendance. It's not an attendance of an activity which is not precisely related to teaching of students in the classroom setting.
The instructional competence of a Computer teacher can be measured though outputs of students, if not this time, maybe by tomorrow or maybe by next week, considering of 1:6 computer-student ratio. And it is so unfair if the principal gives a rating of 4 out 10 when he's not around during the lecture-demo of the teacher who's using a multi-media projector just to prepare appropriate instructional materials in teaching MS Word, or Excel, or Power Point, or Publisher, or Database, or Photoshop, or Programming, or HTML Source Coding, and or PC Hardware Trouble Shooting.
I have some questions in mind. And I couldn't let it go if those are unanswered.
